Continuing on with our Mace Training Fundamentals series, we’ve got the next step to fulling swinging your mace . . . The pendulum position! Practicing this step will give a complete understanding of exactly where your hands should end up in “bottom” of your swing, as this is one of the biggest mistakes beginners make.

Once you understand to let your hands drift down to the top of your neck, then you can start to shift your body side to side and really make the mace swing feel as it should.
